Why Transfer Your Domain
Keeping your domain, hosting, and email spread across different companies makes routine tasks harder than they need to be. A transfer consolidates everything under one login, one support line, and one bill.
What to Expect
A properly handled transfer does not take your domain offline and does not interrupt your existing email. Your domain name, search rankings, and website all stay exactly the same. Only the management moves.
Getting Started
Transfers typically require your domain to be unlocked at its current registrar and an authorization code from that provider. Once you have those, the transfer itself is a guided, self-service process with our support team available if you need help.
Why Transfer Instead of Renewing Elsewhere
Cyber Grapes does not use a discounted first-year rate that jumps up on renewal. We sell and service every domain at the lowest price available to us, whether that is year one or year ten. If wholesale registry costs change, your price reflects that real cost, never an artificial markup. That same lowest-available-price approach applies across our hosting, email, and other services too.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need before I can transfer a domain?
You will need your domain unlocked at its current registrar and an authorization code (sometimes called an EPP code) from that provider. Most registrars provide this from your account dashboard.
Will my website or email go down during the transfer?
No. A properly handled transfer does not take your domain offline and does not interrupt your existing email. Your domain name, search rankings, and website stay exactly the same. Only the management moves to Cyber Grapes.
How long does a domain transfer take?
Most domain transfers complete within five to seven days, though the exact timing depends on your current registrar and how quickly the transfer is approved.
Will my domain price change if I transfer to Cyber Grapes?
We sell and service every domain at the lowest price available to us, whether that is your first year with us or your tenth. There is no discounted introductory rate that jumps up later.
Can I transfer more than one domain at a time?
Yes. If you are moving several domains at once, use our Bulk Domain Transfer tool instead of transferring them one by one.
What happens to my old registrar account after I transfer?
Your domain moves to Cyber Grapes, but your old account itself is not automatically closed. Any other services still attached to that account, such as email or hosting you have not yet moved, will stay there until you move or cancel them separately.
